1970 Chevelle SS 396
This is a complete frame off job. As you can see by the photos the car came to us not in too bad of shape at least on the surface. Randy had some concerns since the gaps were a little off and the car had been touched up before so he brought it to us to blast the car and repaint it. We started by tearing the car down and removing it from its frame. We then sand blasted the frame and soda blasted the body and surprised Randy with the amount of bondo, rust, and wrinkled sheet metal he had on his "rust free California car". We have replaced one floor pan and the pan under the rear seat. Replaced the passenger side rear quarter and wheel house. It was also rusted out in the front cowl area which had to be replaced as well as both of the cowl shoulders. 1970 Chevelle Before 1970 Chevelle Tear down 1970 Chevelle Blasting 1970 Chevelle SS 396 Sheet metal work 1970 Chevelle More Sheetmetal Repair 1970 Chevelle Body Work 1970 Chevelle In Prime 1970 Chevelle Paint 1970 Chevelle More Paint 1970 Chevelle More Paint Assembly Pics More assembly Finished ready to go home More final pictures
